Have you ever been disappointed by the way the parents of your girlfriend acting towards the relationship you are having with their little girl? That they just can't even understand on how their daughter have that kind of love in you when they think that you are not lovable enough in materialistic standpoint.
They think that you don't have the right kind of tools for having their daughter as your girlfriend. Simply, you don't meet their expectations either.
They're just afraid of something they can't understand. When you try to explain to your girlfriend and show her that you still have that little confidence and faith that you can change their minds by showing to her parents on how you worth their daughter more than they know about it.
They just don't know on how you just courted their daughter, what were your sacrifices, and the lot of tests that you should have to pass in order to get to the place you are right at that moment.
They should know first at themselves that, they've not raised their children on what they think they are right now, they should have confidence and trust on them that whenever they have to decide on themselves, there are their teachings that will guide them through whatever they think they will encounter in their mere future.
Wise men say that when you can't understand something, it doesn't mean that they are wrong and "trust on the person, and not on things that they know well, for you have this person that can make things for you just the way you want it.
It's like, for me, you have to have confidence and trust in yourself in order to put and give your trust and confidence to another person, for you knew what confidence and trust really are and how they will mean to them. God Bless!
