Do you have friends that are always counting on you? And you do not have any problems about that because in your point, you know that you can also count on them.
Not in materialistic standpoint, but in terms of having them when you need somebody to lean on to. When you know that you can have them to turn on to, to express the feelings you just want to disperse and just to clean the slate of emotions after the whole day by playing/doing things you used to.
They can count on you on terms of having you exactly the same way, no more and no less. Yes and at this point of time, they should have known of what to expect from you and that is to be with them whenever they need you, especially if they know that you are the only who could miss the things they could possibly doing without you.
You can count on me 'cause I can count on you. You said to your friends in a particular moment where in, they are not quite sure if you would be available in a particular event not necessarily to be at that stuff and you know that you have things to prioritize first before going on that event, but still you have this friendly-ego where you have to enjoy the things first with your friends before the worst to happen.
Not the stuff, that if you don't go they would have say things to you that can hurt the relationship between you and them, the worst case is being with your friends rather than things you should prioritize first or something like you might have a conflict with your girlfriend if you choose to be with your friends rather than to be with her.
Prioritizing not so important things you have to do in your work or in your studies might affect the relationship with your friends if you just keep it as an excuse to be as important as it is. Try to balance things in and things out, you know what's important than the other, and I'm quite sure that your friends will understand if you can't go if that will hurt your performance in your school or in your work.
You just can't have two bodies at the same time at different places so, you have to make a decision where in, that decision will be a bigger regret than the other if you don't do so.
And see to it that you let your friends imagine the bigger picture where you have this libra scale to weigh things you should do, in terms of effectiveness for using your time for it and something important that you know that will help you to make a progress. God Bless!
