The Only Thing I Ever Gave Up is Using No More Excuses

Have you ever gave up something that your girlfriend does not like about you? And sometimes you make it as an excuse and make her understand about your situation because of having that excuse.

Others will just love and understand everything you hate about yourself, but it seems so obvious that you overused that excuse just to make everything alright. At first, they will understand of how it is affecting your life, but sooner or later they will realize that you don't give such effort to change that problem just to not make it again as an excuse.

You put again the same excuse just to let them know that you are what you are and not you can be what you can become. I'm just saying, you could do better.

The only thing I ever gave up, using no more excuses. It's not only what you say but how you say it, you just promise her in your deepest sense and with full sincerity that you ain't gonna use excuses just to make everything okay and for thinking that she's gonna accept for who you are.

It is just that, you don't want to make it hard for her to understand for who you are and something like you want to make your relationship progress by taking some adjustments on your part.
