Have you ever lived the life you aren't used to live just to be with the girl you love the most? Probably, you just sacrifice everything you have just to be fair to her world and to not let her feelings down towards you.
Yes, you could have every little thing that the world can imagine and your girlfriend is getting what's the best and most out of her things, but could you have those intangible things that you want to feel if everybody sees that you are just imbalance for each other.
Thinking that you are in different state trying to adjust of what can be fix at this point in time, in order to not pinpoint of something they can't understand. Yes, they will say that you are not right for each other and you will realize in yourself that you should let go of that relationship in order to not hurt your girlfriend deeply, if it was about to sustain that kind of relationship.
I probably live the life you wish you could have everyday. You said to your girlfriend, not to tease her or something but to make her realize all about your sacrifice she didn't recognize at any point in your relationship.
Yes, you have had your adjustments and stuff to be with your girlfriend but she ain't have no comments or suggestions of how you just doing in order to be with her. And yes, you just quit, you surrender that in every sacrifices you are making, you didn't get the award that was supposedly for you.
To recognize that hey, can't you see that... and hey, don't you know that connected by these words I'm just doing this for the sake of our relationship and every other words just to make it bittersweet. Bitter in a sense that you are just having a hard time just to please or just to make your girlfriend feel sweet.
Maintaining a relationship is hard work. Not that you have to work hard just to have that, but in every step the both of you will take, you would have to lift and help each other's foot in order to get to the next level of your relationship.
