Have you ever taken your control out of your mind? That you let your mind feels of what is good for yourself and not the kind of things you want to get accomplished for today or even right now? That you are not aware of procrastinating, replacing your priorities with some kind of leisure you want to feel right now and not about the fruits that you will reap if you continue to do such priorities for the future.
You either control your mind or it controls you, when your mind suggests of what you could do on ideas and thoughts you gather that shook your mindset and counteract of what you should do in the first place. You either control the invasion of information gathered by your mind or you let your mind react on the things that happened in an instant and turn your focus away to your priorities and start thinking on how to dwell on such instant that primarily not your priority before it showed up.
Filter the stream of your thoughts by looking at the situation on how it correlates to the priorities you should be doing at the point and time it happened. It might affect the way you think, if directly associated with your priorities but either way, you control your mind. Your mind can control you, if you let your emotions affect the harmony of your thoughts even if you're not aware that your emotions get through with it, you let your mind control you.
Such cases, you already have an experience dealing with such thoughts that might get your emotions deal with it just to mend your regrets or joy, your mind will suggest it first because it was a thought buried with emotions and in that case, you cannot control your mind unless you get over on the emotions you have for it before you bury it.
Things do matter if you put it over your mind, so keep your mind under control of what you think is best for you. Don't let others cater you to the things and thoughts that is not essential and not been resonated to the personality and human being you made for yourself. God Bless!
