Have you ever been lectured by your friends about your previous relationship? That they have already said that it won't pan out and still you want the words to encourage you to continue what you've been started.
That you want to have that relationship back to your arms and trying to fix what is broken, you want this good ol' friends to help you but they can't. They just can't believe that you still pursuit your happiness when they thought it was madness, thinking that you are obsessed enough to keep up a relationship like that.
Let you meet my friends so they can lecture me again. You said to your girlfriend after you just made your relationship back on its track. Yes, you meet your friends again and now with your girlfriend trying to make you feel proud of what you have shouldn't done according to your friends.
They will only act as kind as they can be to your girlfriend when she wasn't aware of what they were thinking. And if they wanna force you of they wanted you to do, you could determine who your true and fake friends are. True friends are those who knows, loves, and accepts you just the same.
Fake friends are those who force you to be someone else they like to be friends with, they tryna change you to be a somebody that you are not. So, pick your friends wisely because you are the only one who can choose what type of friends you like to be with. You must shape your outer world first, before it shapes you. God Bless!
